Akshay Kumar has a solid line-up of films, right from Sooryavanshi and Laxxmi Bomb to Good Newzz, Prithviraj and Bachchan Pandey. Adding another one to the list, Akshay announced his next Bell Bottom, a spy thriller, on social media as he released the poster of the same.
Inspired by true events, the poster shows the actor dressed in ‘80s style, leaning on a red vintage car with an airplane flying in the background. Sharing the poster, he wrote, “Get ready to go back to the 80’s and hop onto a roller-coaster spy ride, #BELLBOTTOM! Releasing on 22nd January, 2021.”
Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, the film will go on floors mid next year and will be releasing in January 2021.
Recently, Akshay’s music video debut Filhall, released on Saturday. With vocals by Punjabi singer B Praak, written by Jaani and directed by Arvinder Khaira, the song is a tale of two lovers, play by Akshay Kumar and Nupur Sanon who’ve sacrificed their love for their family’s happiness.
He took to Instagram to recreate one of the scenes from the song with Katrina Kaif, on the sets of Sooryavanshi.
“Been reading all your comments on the #FilhallTeaser and so many of you said it reminded you’ll of Namastey London. Coincidentally, I was shooting with our very own Jazz aka @katrinakaif today for #Sooryavanshi and we have a little surprise for you all,” Akshay wrote on Instagram.
