After a 12-year-long hiatus, Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty is all set to make her comeback. The Dhadkan actor has been roped in for an upcoming comedy film. Although the comedy film is yet to be titled, reports Mumbai Mirror. Actors Diljit Dosanjh and Yami Gautam will also be playing pivotal roles in the film.
Shilpa Shetty was last seen in ‘Apne’ in 2007.
Speaking about Shilpa Shetty’s role in the film, a source informed that the actor will be essaying the role of a writer. However, the shooting for the film hasn’t begun yet. It is expected to go on floors in August once Shilpa Shetty Kundra returns to Mumbai. Currently, Shilpa is holidaying in Greece and London.
The film will mark the directorial debut of Aziz Mirza’s son Haroon. Haroon has previously assisted on films like Yess Boss and Paheli.
Shilpa Shetty was last seen in Apne in 2007.
On 17 June, Shilpa Shetty Kundra launched her eponymous fitness app at an event. During the event, held in the presence of the media, Shilpa not only demonstrated some yoga asanas but also answered questions about yoga to create awareness.
She said that the app has a section for dietary counselling as well because just working out or practicing yoga is not enough. The Bollywood celebrity is a known yoga enthusiast and is often seen promoting the practice.
