In 2012, Abhishek Bachchan and Ajay Devgn co-starred in Rohit Shetty’s Bol Bachchan. Now, after seven long years, the actors are all set to share screen space again. According to a report by Mumbai Mirror, Abhishek and Ajay will be joining hands for a drama film helmed by Kookie Gulati. Kookie Gulati and Ajay Devgn have previously worked together in Total Dhamaal.
The team is still looking for a female lead to cast opposite Abhishek Bachchan.
A source close to the source has revealed that pre-production for this untitled-project is already under way and the recce for the same will begin soon. The story is based on a real life occurrence between 1999 and 2000 which changed the “financial fabric” of the country. Illeana D’cruz has been signed up as the female lead of the film. She will be paired opposite Ajay Devgn. The team is still looking for a female lead to cast opposite Abhishek Bachchan.
Apart from this, Ajay Devgn is working on Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ which is a Akshay Kumar-starrer.
The film will go on floors by the end of the year, reported Mumbai Mirror.

Abhishek Bachchan has been cast in Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming anthology film.
