Right from the time they met at the Met Gala in 2017, the internet was rife with updates and speculation about Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ link-up, be it Nick visiting Priyanka in Mumbai or the couple celebrating Priyanka’s 36th birthday in New York. The couple got recently got engaged with a roka ceremony in Mumbai.
Well, here are 10 things you need to know about Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra’s rgroom-to-be:
1. The Basics
His full name is Nicholas Jerry Jonas and he’s 25 years old (will be 26 on 16 September).
2. What Does He Do for a Living?
“Singer dude” is not entirely wrong. He’s an American singer, songwriter, actor, and record producer. He released his debut single in 2002, but did not become famous until a few years later.
3. The Jonas Brothers
Sounds familiar? In 2005, Nick Jonas formed a band with his older brothers, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas. And they called it the Jonas Brothers.
You may recognise them from the Disney Channel, especially the musical television film Camp Rock (2008), its sequel Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010) and two of their own series, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream (2008–2010) and Jonas (2009–2010).
Nick Jonas has been a teen idol through most of these years.
4. He Has Featured on Hannah Montana

He later released his third studio album, Last Year Was Complicated (2016), which was a massive success.
6. He Is an International Sex Symbol
His Nick Jonas (2014) was re-released as Nick Jonas X2 in 2015, at which point he became an international sex symbol.
Not only was he on OK!'s list of 2014's Sexiest Men Alive, but he was also ranked #10 on People's Sexiest Men Alive list in 2015 and #6 on Capital FM's list of Sexiest Men in Pop in 2016.

He dated Miley sometime around 2006-7. In her 2009 book Miles to Go, Miley writes that he was her “first love.”

Nick has done a lot of good social work. As a type 1 diabetes patient himself, he has developed the Change for the Children Foundation, which raises money and awareness for diabetes. He is also a diabetes ambassador with Bayer Diabetes Care and donates to research funding for the condition.
10. He Is Now Engaged to Priyanka Chopra
Nick apparently shut down a whole store of Tiffany’s to find the perfect engagement ring. “His friends and family have never seen him like this, and they’re all really excited for him. He’s definitely very serious about her,” a source told People magazine. They got engaged with a traditional roka ceremony in Mumbai.
