The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has sent a notice to Shah Rukh Khan asking him to refund the cost incurred by them in demolishing the ramp in front of the actor’s home in Bandra.

The BMC had in February demolished a six-inch concrete ramp made in front of Shah Rukh’s house ‘Mannat’, which the actor used to park his customized vanity van. The action was taken by the municipal body after receiving complaints by local residents who said that the ramp blocked the way to Mount Mary Church.

According to a report in Mid-Day the demolition took two days, 35 MCGM staff, 40 labourers, 6 breakers, generator sets, JCB equipment and cost the BMC almost 2 lakhs. It is reported that Shah Rukh had anyway offered to pay the corporation the amount incurred in demolishing the ramp and will be handing over a cheque as soon as he receives the notice from BMC.
