Film actor, comedian, script and dialogue writer Kader Khan is making a comeback into Bollywood. Amitabh Bachchan recently made this announcement on Twitter, though he didn’t reveal the name of the film that Khan will be starting out with after his long hiatus.

Khan’s comic timing and witty dialogues are unforgettable! While we find out more on when we’ll get to see him in a film, here are some hilarious signature Kader Khan scenes that’ll have you grinning!

Hum (1991)

Khan has acted in more than 300 films and has about 250 to his credit as a dialogue writer. In this Amitabh, Govinda, Rajinikanth starrer, Kader Khan was insanely funny as the bad theatre actor who loved being showered with rotten tomatoes on stage.

Coolie No. 1 (1995)

David Dhawan, Govinda, and Kader Khan were an iconic jodi. They’ve made us laugh in Haseena Maan Jayegi, Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan, Mr and Mrs Khiladi, Hero No. 1, Coolie No. 1 and so many more! Remember this scene where Kader Khan decides that he will get his daughter married off to Govinda, who fools Khan into believing that he’s a wealthy industrialist? What a riot they were!

Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri (1990)

Kader Khan won the Filmfare Award for Best Comedian thanks to this ‘Ghost in the Bathroom’ scene. Aditya Pancholi makes Khan believe that only he can see him. Of course, Jackie Shroff was in on the prank too and pretends to see right through Pancholi! Kader Khan’s expressions in this one are priceless!

Himmatwala (1983)

Kader Khan was such a class act as Munimji in this Sridevi-Jeetendra starrer. Himmatwala was one of India’s biggest blockbusters of the 80s. He was last seen very briefly, in the Arjun Kapoor-Sonakshi Sinha starrer Tevar (2015), but has been missing in action for years!

We’re glad that the Kader Khan touch is coming back to Hindi films, though we can’t say for sure if he’ll wear the acting, writing or directing hat this time! It’s only a matter of time till we find out, so watch this space.
