Yet another week, and yet again, the same celebrities that Karan Johar is best friends with. Two leading ladies, on the opposite ends of the acting spectrum, came together on Johar’s couch.
This particular coffee was quite tepidly brewed, even though few sips packed a bit of a punch. Here’s what went down in the Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif episode, ICYMI.
The Bollywood director pointed out that Katrina Kaif had been MIA from his couch last season while it took him a month to convince Anushka to come back this season.

Katrina revealed that the reason she had not appeared on the previous seasons is because she felt bad about the ratings Karan makes the celebrities give to others, during the rapid fire round.
While she said she does not like rating people, she also said that she did not like the ratings she received from some people. Maybe Karan will finally take a hint and ask less hurtful, and more intelligent, questions?
Even Anuskha chimed in saying Karan is being hurtful by making people rate others.
Karan’s Koffee is Holy
The truth has finally been spoken!
Katrina was not one to hold back on the discussions that happen in the industry a day after the koffee episodes air. She said people discuss the episode in greater detail than college kids discuss their syllabus and that people take what’s said on the episode to be the gospel truth, like a page out of the Bible.

Anti-Social Psychopaths
While both the ladies refused to divulge much about their lives, they both revealed one thing – they are practically the same person.
They’re both terrible at texting, they both don’t like talking about people and need their space from others. Anushka went as far to say that they would be deemed psychopaths after the show aired!
Career Shift
Katrina displayed the knack for a whole new profession when she pointed out quite a few things wrong with Karan’s set. She also gave him pointers for future seasons, like: Karan should move closer to his guests and reduce the couch size to make it more intimate between guests.

They have all had to kiss Arjun Kapoor on the couch this season.
While the women didn’t have much to divulge of their personal lives, things got eerily silent when Johar mentioned their equation with Deepika Padukone.
History lesson: Deepika is dating Anushka’s ex-boyfriend Ranveer and she was Katrina’s ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor’s ex-girlfriend.
