Alia Bhatt Admits to Her Closeness with Sidharth Malhotra

Since Alia Bhatt and the cast of Kapoor & Sons, which includes Sidharth Malhotra, are on a promotional drive for the film, questions about Alia and Sidharth’s relationship are inevitable.

When Hindustantimes.com asked if working with Sidharth and other friends in the film made it easier, Alia had this to say:

Of course, especially with Sid (Sidharth Malhotra) being around, as he is one of the closest people in my life right now. So, whenever I felt low [while working on the film], I knew I had a friend to take care of me. I didn’t feel alone.

So while Alia has made it clear that Sid is definitely close to her, she hasn’t admitted to being in a relationship just yet. And going by this answer about keeping mum on her personal life, it looks like that aspect will remain a secret:

It makes life easier because then the focus doesn’t move away from your work. And, of course, the mystery remains intact. I feel some mystery is always nice.
