Kapil Sharma shot for Koffee With Karan back in November 2016, but we’re curious about why the episode hasn’t been aired yet? It has been three months and from his tweet it even looks like he won the hamper. Kapil and Karan together is surely going to be one of the best episodes of the season, so why has it not been used to rescue the show from the mid-season lull it seems to be suffering? According to reports, some of Karan’s questions didn’t go down too well with Kapil.
Yes, we’re as surprised as you are. Kapil and Karan are not people who are easily offended. But what did Karan ask him? If rumours are to be believed, Karan casually asked Kapil about his tweet last year, in which he lashed out at the BMC for corruption. Apparently, this backfired.
Karan reportedly went on to ask Kapil what he was doing on Twitter so early that morning, and even joked about him not having a girlfriend, who he should’ve been spending wee hours of the morning with. Apparently Kapil was dumbstruck by this remark and very embarrassed too. He laughed off Karan’s comment saying that he didn’t know how to answer that one, and that even he doesn’t get this personal with his own guests on The Kapil Sharma Show.
Mr Sharma, need we remind you that you cracked pretty much the same joke on Shah Rukh Khan?
Going by how sexed up Koffee With Karan’s latest season has been, you really shouldn’t be so touchy about KJo’s ‘puns’. It’s time you learn to take a joke for what it is, unless something else is the issue. We’re still wondering what really went wrong.
