In her upcoming movie, Signature Move, veteran actress Shabana Azmi is playing the role of a lesbian teenager’s mother.
The film will be directed by a Pakistani actor-director Fawzia Mirza, who will play the role of the lesbian teenager who is in a relationship with a woman wrestler form Mexico.
Mirza is a part of Her Story, a web series about two transgender women in Los Angeles, which was nominated for an Emmy award.
The teenager’s mother, who spends her days watching soap operas, is oblivious to the her sexuality.
Azmi started shooting for the film on Tuesday when Mirza spoke about the American production on Instagram.
