In an industry were rumours and gossip fly thick and fast, we really don’t know what to make of this news. According to a report in Mid Day, Shah Rukh Khan might now step into Ranveer Singh’s shoes for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati featuring Deepika Padukone in the title role. And the reason? Wait for it - apparently Ranveer made the mistake of asking Bhansali for a script of the film before he signed up for it.
Now, how on earth could any actor actually do that, right? Ask the great Bhansali for a script! Obviously the dad of all directors was livid that kal ka chokra asked him for a script and went on to look for other actors to play the part of Alaudin Khilji. Buzz is that Shah Rukh will most probably take over Ranveer’s part now. There is no confirmation of this news from either Bhansali or Ranveer yet, nor should we expect one!
