Salman Khan, always full of surprises, revealed that his father Salim wanted him to become a cricketer when he was growing up. At Sania Mirza’s book launch, the actor said that former Indian cricketer Salim Durani had been hired to coach him and had even told his father that he had a bright future in the game.

Salman, who has a reputation of arriving late on sets, couldn’t see himself waking up early and he started playing the game badly every time his father would show up for the game.

Salman also candidly said that reaching school on time was tough for him, so waking up at 5:30 am for practice seemed like an impossible feat. But growing up he wanted to be a director, rather than to act in films. Speaking for all Salman fans, we are glad he decided to be in front of the camera rather than behind it!

2. Tiger Shroff Brings On The Laughs in ‘A Flying Jatt’ Trailer
Tiger Shroff just shared the first official trailer of his upcoming film A Flying Jatt. Apart from a lot of flying around, the young star seems to have attempted his hand at comedy in this film. He brings on the laughs as a superhero who often gets scared or makes a mess of things — that is, until the big bad guy (played by Nathan Jones in what looks like a rip-off of several Hollywood flicks) appears on the scene.

3. I Need Another Birth To Compete with Rajinikanth: Irrfan Khan
Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan, whose film Madaari is slated to clash with Rajinikanth’s Kabali at the box office, says there is no competition between him and the southern superstar and that he would have to take another birth to compete with him.

According to PTI, the actor added: “We will be happy if our film earns a little bit more money than what we have invested. I respect him a lot as a person. I need to take another birth to compete with him,” the Piku actor said.

4. Vicky Kaushal To Play Dippy’s Husband in Padmavati?
It’s not official yet, but according to industry sources, there’s a strong chance of Vicky Kaushal playing Deepika Padukone’s husband in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film, Padmavati.
The actor, flush from his success in Masaan and Raman Raghav 2.0, has reportedly auditioned for the role, and is in talks with the makers though nothing has been finalised yet. He will be next seen alongside Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar in Manmarziyan.

5. Shirish Kunder Slaps Rs 5 Crore Lawsuit on Aneel Neupane For Kriti
Shirish Kunder has been an angry man ever since allegations were made against him by Nepali filmmaker Aneel Neupane that the former’s short film Kriti was heavily inspired by his Bob. But Kriti is back on YouTube again and now, Kunder has slapped a Rs 5 crore lawsuit for damages against Neupane.
6. Salman Khan Getting Married On 18 November - Or Not?

Salman Khan stumped the media yet again at the launch event of Sania Mirza’s autobiography titled Ace Against Odds. ‘Sultan’ was being poked by journalists about his wedding plans involving the actor’s rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur. Sania Mirza added some weight to the question by asking Salman herself “Everyone wants to know when are you getting married? It’s the most important question,” she said.
