Don’t you just love it when someone gives the trolls a Twitter equivalent of a kick in the nuts?
Well, Mexican singer Patricia Navidad did just that. It was expected to be an embarrassing situation for Navidad, had she let the Twitter trolls get to her. This one is after the much-talked about Kleenex incident.
Haven’t heard yet? So, this is what happened.
Navidad was performing on LIVE TV for the Mexican show Despierta America when something that looked like a sanitary napkin slipped out from underneath her dress and fell on the floor. She continued performing anyway.
But wait a minute, was it a sanitary napkin?
Nope. Turns out, it was just a Kleenex tissue.
So when the trolls brought it up in her Timeline, they got a taste of their own medicine. Navidad not just laughed it off but gave it back to them in four feisty tweets. Here’s a translation.
They say a man who treats women as princesses has been raised by a queen. Those who attack and offend, who educated you?
What a pity that there are men here who forget that they are here because of a woman and they’re vulgar and offensive to women!!!
And if it was what they say, it’s not shameful or embarrassing, but then they judge and assault. They forget they are not what they say!
