Soon after Narendra Modi took oath as the Prime Minister of India for his second term on Thursday, 30 May, Twitter’s focus shifted from celebrations to his new Council of Ministers. With a total of 58 ministers swearing in, who’d get the key Cabinets – Home, Finance, Defence and External Affairs?

While many like BJP chief Amit Shah and former foreign secretary S Jaishankar found favour in Modi’s new government, several lost their places in the Council or were overlooked – like Suresh Prabhu, Jayant Sinha and Rajyavardhan Rathore.
