Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President and Telangana caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) lost his temper at a young man while addressing a public meeting in Asifabad, Telangana on Thursday, 29 November, reported ANI.

The young man had asked KCR about his promise of increasing the minority reservation in the state to 12 percent.

But, an angry KCR asked the man to sit down and said:

12 percent hi bole. Khamosh baitho. Baith jaao. Baitho na. Tumhare baap ko bolun kya baatein (I have said 12 percent only. Sit down or should I tell your father about it).”

According to a report in The Times of India, later during his speech, the TRS chief reportedly said that some other party could have sent the man to create ruckus.

Earlier, on Monday, KCR had slammed BJP Chief Amit Shah for his opposition to TRS government’s proposal to increase reservation for Muslims in the state.

Rao, who was speaking at an election rally at Dichpally, said he will continue his efforts to get quotas increased for Scheduled Tribes and Muslims.

BJP Chief Amit Shah had attacked the TRS government's proposal to give 12 percent quota to Muslims, saying his party would never allow it as religion-based reservation is unconstitutional.
