Supporters of various political parties across the Indian states burst crackers, danced to the dhol and played with gulal as they celebrated their parties' performance in Assembly elections in Rajasthan, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram respectively.
Carrying their party flags, a large number of workers gathered outside party headquarters and on streets, praising their party leadership for victory in state elections.
Some even distributed sweets and put up big banners of their leaders on the walls of party offices.
