Rajasthan Exit Polls: Cong to Win, Predict India Today & Times Now

Congress looks likely to win in Rajasthan, with most exit polls predicting a clear majority for the grand old party over the BJP.

199 out of the 200 Assembly seats in Rajasthan went to polls on Friday, 7 December.

The BJP is fighting strong anti-incumbency in Rajasthan, a state that has not voted the ruling party for a second term in the last 20 years. While the pre-poll surveys have all announced the Congress as front-runners, owing to the last ditch efforts by PM Modi – BJP’s star campaigner – the ruling party has recovered lost grounds.

With polling underway in Rajasthan and Telangana on Friday, 7 December, the Election Commission spokesperson said that there will be a ban on exit polls till 5:30 pm.
