‘Hair Chowkidar’ to Desh Ka Chowkidar: Jawed Habib Joins BJP

Jawed Habib on Monday, 22 April, joined BJP in the presence of party national secretary Tarun Chugh in New Delhi.

Well-known hair dresser Jawed Habib on Monday, 22 April, joined the BJP in the presence of party national secretary Tarun Chugh in New Delhi.

“I used to protect people’s hair till now, but from this moment, I will be the watchman of our country (Aaj tak main baalon ka chowkidar tha, aaj mein desh ka chowkidar ban gaya hoon),” Habib told news agency ANI, moments after joining the party.

Chugh was accompanied by the party's national media co-incharge Sanjay Mayukh.

Welcoming Habib into the party, Mayukh said he joined the party inspired by the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
