AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan, Supporters Booked for 'Assaulting' Man

Aam Aadmi Party's Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan and his supporters were booked for allegedly assaulting and threatening a man in Jamia Nagar here, police said Monday, 13 May, PTI reported.

A complaint was received from a man alleging that AAP supporters assaulted him because he was not supporting Khan and the party, a senior police officer said.

The man told police that Khan was present at the time of the incident, he said.

Delhi Man Claims Mismatch Between Vote Cast by Him and VVPAT Slip; EC Orders Probe

The Election Commission on Monday asked the Delhi Chief Electoral Office to inquire into the allegations of a man who claimed that he was dissuaded from complaining about a mismatch between the vote cast by him and what reflected in the VVPAT machine, PTI reported.

The case pertains to a polling booth in the Matiala assembly segment of West Delhi.
