EC Notice to Dilip Ghosh For Threat to Remove Poll Officer’s Pants

The Election Commission has handed Ghosh a show cause notice for his comments.

The Election Commission has handed West Bengal's BJP chief and Lok Sabha candidate Dilip Ghosh a show cause notice for threatening to take off the trousers of a poll panel who had removed a Ram Navami hoarding containing his poster.

“Had it been done in my presence, I would have removed the trousers of the poll official,” an angry Ghosh, who has a habit of making controversial comments, was quoted saying by news agency IANS reported.
