India take on Sri Lanka in their second ICC Champions Trophy 2017 Group B match at the Oval in London on Thursday. Defending champions India won their first match against Pakistan by 124 runs via D/L method.

Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan built another excellent opening partnership for the Indian team while skipper Virat Kohli was out for a duck.
Shikhar Dhawan scored 125 runs off 128 balls. MS Dhoni finished the innings with a quickfire 63 runs off 52 balls.
India posted 321/6 in 50 overs.
Sri Lanka scored 143/1 in 25 overs. After Niroshan Dickwella was dismissed by Bhuvneshwar Kumar early in the innings; Kusal Mendis and Danushka Gunathilaka took some time to get set and then started taking on the bowlers.
The duo, notched fifties and strung a 159-run partnership.
India finally made inroads in the 28th and 33rd over, when both Gunathilaka and Mendis were run out for 76 and 89 respectively.
Thereafter, Angelo Mathews (52*) and Kusal Perera (47 - retired hurt) took Sri Lanka’s innings forward and put their team in the driver’s seat.
They put on 75 runs together before Perera had to leave the field due to an injury.
But, that did not disturb Sri Lanka’s momentum.
Asela Gunaratne (34*) joined Mathews in the middle and took Sri Lanka home with a 51-run stand.
Sri Lanka won the match by seven wickets.
