In light of the second wave of COVID-19 cases, Karnataka Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar on Thursday, 25 March, said that from 1 April, all passengers travelling to Karnataka capital Bengaluru from any other state in India will need to undergo RT-PCR tests and show a negative report before they can enter the city.

The Karnataka government has also decided that COVID-19 patients who opt for home isolation will be hand-stamped.
