It’s becoming more and more cumbersome to watch trailers every time the word ‘remake’ is used. One example of this is the Judwaa 2 trailer starring Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu. Judwaa 2 is a remake of the Judwaa, which was a remake of a Telugu film - Hello Brother - which itself was apparently a remake of Jackie Chan’s Twin Dragons.
Matlab, pehla wala hi original nahi tha, toh yeh kya hoga?
So you have fancy locales, slick camera work and good-looking faces making up for a plot that has been done to death 3 times over?
It’s a David Dhawan film, so it will find it’s loyalists who line up for the usual masala entertainers that Bollywood dishes out from time to time.
