Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma to Star Together in ‘Sui Dhaaga’

Yash Raj Films announces project together with Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan.

Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma come together for the first time in YRF’s Sui Dhaaga - Made in India.

The film will be written and directed by Sharat Katariya of Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015) fame and produced by Maneesh Sharma.

Talking about the film, Varun Dhawan said,

From Gandhiji (Mahatma Gandhi) to Modiji (Narendra Modi), our country’s leaders have always endorsed the mantra of Made in India. With Sui Dhaaga, I’m proud to take their message to millions of movie lovers in a manner that is entertaining and relevant.

He also said that he loved the script, and expected that his pairing with Anushka will result in “fireworks.

Anushka said, "I always get excited with unique ideas that have human interest stories. Sui Dhaaga is a story of self-reliance that I believe will connect to the grassroots level with every Indian."
