It’s been widely reported that filmmaker Karan Johar said that, “I’m done with Kangana playing the woman card and the victim card. I mean you cannot be this victim at every given point of time who has a sad story to tell about how you’ve been terrorised by the bad world of the industry, leave it!” at an event in London recently. The filmmaker made it clear that he was miffed about the way in which Kangana Ranaut accused him of being the “flag-bearer of nepotism” among other things on his celebrity chat show.
Karan’s reaction to Kangana’s episode comes weeks after the show aired and significantly it has come after her film Rangoon has bombed at the box-office. Mumbai Mirror adds another theory to the timing of Karan’s late response to Kangana. Apparently Karan’s team is in talks with Hrithik Roshan for a film and discrediting Kangana could be one way of getting Roshan Jr to sign up for his project. Could the famous fall out between Hrithik and Kangana and the failure of Rangoon be now creating new camps in Bollywood? We’ll find out soon enough.
