Ramya K is a postgraduate student pursuing an MSc in Psychology (Health and Wellbeing) at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Sciences Research from the same university. Her work sits at the intersection of social psychology and public health, examining how stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination quietly shape systemic gaps in health and social outcomes. She has carried this thread across research stints at Sangath, the Schizophrenia Research Foundation (SCARF), and The Research Wise, and is currently turning her attention to older adults, studying gender differences in social engagement and cognitive outcomes using LASI-DAD data.
