Brian VanDeMark

Brian VanDeMark is a distinguished historian and professor of American History at the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, where he has taught since 1990 . A UCLA Ph.D. graduate and Texas native, he co‑authored Robert McNamara’s In Retrospect, the basis for the Academy Award–winning film "The Fog of War". His books include Into the Quagmire, Pandora’s Keepers, American Sheikhs, Road to Disaster, and Kent State: An American Tragedy (due August 2024)
