Blaming a Mexican Billionaire: Trump’s Exit Strategy For NYT Story

New York Times recently carried interviews with women who alleged that Donald Trump had assaulted them sexually.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump blamed Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim, who is the largest shareholder in The New York Times, for the daily coming out with stories against him.

The largest shareholder in the <i>Times</i> is Carlos Slim. Now Carlos Slim, as you know, comes from Mexico. He’s given many millions of dollars to the Clintons and their initiatives. So Carlos Slim, largest owner of the paper, from Mexico.

Trump went on to add that the people working at the daily are not journalists but “corporate lobbyists for Carlos Slim and for Hillary Clinton.”

We’re going to let foreign corporations and their CEOs decide the outcomes of the (elections). You just can’t do this.

Over the weekend, the daily came out with stories, in which it interviewed women who have accused him of inappropriate relationship.

Trump alleged that no paper is more corrupt than the failing New York Times. He said he’s being viciously attacked with lies and smears.

It’s a phony deal. I have no idea who these women are, I have no idea. I have no idea. I think you all know I have no idea because you understand me for a lot of years.
