Is the claim true?: No, the claim is false.

  • The video shows a dancer from Haryana named Palak Saini. She posted the same video on her Instagram page.

What we found: We came across a post on X by user ruchikokcha showing the same viral video. However, it did not carry the claim as the rest.

  • We noticed a comment under the post which noted that the woman in the video was a dancer named Palak Saini. The user mentioned her Instagram username too.

  • We then found Saini's Instagram and found the viral video which she had posted on 18 March.

  • Incidentally, Saini resposted fact-checking outlet Newschecker's video on this viral claim.

  • As per the user's Instagram bio, she is a video creator and model from Sonipat in Haryana.

  • We did not find any evidence that linked any such provocative videos to the woman accused in the Meerut case.

  • We also went through several news reports which featured images of both the accused in this murder. We tried comparing Rastogi's image with the woman in the viral video and did not find similarities.

Here is a comparison between both the visuals.
