A video showing a two people dressed in US military uniforms, being handcuffed and accompanied by police personnel is being widely shared on social media.
In the video, they talk about the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza, with the woman calling on people to "rise up" take the country back from "corrupt politicians", while talking about the holocaust during World War 2.
The claim: The video is being shared to claim that it shows US pilots being arrested in the Pentagon after refusing to fly planes full of weapons into Israel.
(Archived versions of more posts sharing this claim can be seen here, here, and here.)
But...?: The claim is misleading.
The personnel, identified as Captain Josephine Guilbeau and Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Aguilar, were arrested for disrupting a senate hearing while raising their voices against Israel's genocide in Gaza.
How do we know?: A simple reverse image search on a keyframe of the video led us to a YouTube short by Saudi-based news organisation Al Arabiya English, which carried a longer version of the same video.
It was captioned, "US Army veterans Anthony Aguilar and Josephine Guilbeau interrupt a Senate hearing," to denounce Washington's support for Israel's actions in Gaza.
The beginning of the video showed both personnel indoors during a Senate hearing.
We also came across the same longer version, shared by Al Jazeera English's Instagram account, mentioning that veterans Aguilar and Guilbeau interrupted a Senate hearing to denounce the US' support for Israel over its genocide in Gaza.
It mentioned that both were arrested then later reportedly released.
A report by TRT World identified Guilbeau as a former intelligence officer and Aguilar as a former Green Beret who is now a whistleblower against the US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).
It added that Aguilar became a prominent Palestinian rights advocate after working with GHF, describing Gaza's aid distribution sites as "designed death traps."
Neither of them is involved in active duty, nor are they pilots, as claimed.
Conclusion: A video of two US veterans speaking up against the US' support for Israel is being shared to falsely claim that it shows two pilots being arrested after refusing to fly arms into Israel.
