An image is going viral on social media to claim that TATA Nano will be relaunched under Noel Tata’s leadership after businessman Ratan Tata's death.

The claim also states that the new model will have a modern design with a 624cc petrol engine, and mileage of 30 km.

What's the truth?: This image is edited, the original image shows the Toyota Aygo X Pulse.

• Moreover, TATA Motors confirmed that there is no official announcement about any new Nano launch.

How did we find out the truth?: We visited TATA motors' website and did not find any official announcement about new version of Nano car being launched.

• We also did not find any such announcement on their social media pages.

• Next, we performed a reverse image search on the car seen in the viral image and this led us to a similar image of another car, Toyota Aygo X Pulse.

• This image was shared on the official website of Toyota.

• We also found a video related to this car and it can be seen here.

• Another clear picture of Aygo X Pulse can be seen here.
