What have users said?: Those sharing the clip have uploaded it with a caption that said, "#Sialkot is done. Scenes from Sialkot Canal bridge. Pakistanis literally crying (sic)."

This post had gained over five lakh views on the platform at the time of writing this report. More archives of similar claims can be found here, here, and here.

What are the facts?: The claim is false. The video could be traced back to at least January of this year and has no connection to the recent operation.

What led us to the truth?: On conducting a reverse image search on the keyframes of the viral clip, it led us to an Instagram account named '@natural_forceyt'.

  • We came across the same visuals published on the handle on 12 January.

  • Its caption said, "Would Love To Witness This Majestic Tornado in Real Life This footage was created with AI. It’s not real and is intended for entertainment purposes only."

  • The caption made it clear that the video was AI-generated and did not show real visuals.

Conclusion: It is evident that the video is old and is not related to the Operation Sindoor as claimed by several social media users.
