Is the claim true?: No, the claim is false as the video is created using artificial intelligence tools.

What we found: At first, we divided the video into multiple screenshots and ran a Google reverse image on some of them. However, we did not find any credible sources to prove the truth behind the video.

  • We ran a relevant keyword search to find whether such an incident had taken place in Mumbai, however, we did not find any such report or official records about this.

Discrepancies in the video: We slowed the video and looked at it closely.

  • Upon checking, we noticed discrepancies in the form of human bodies looking disfigured when the chaos broke out about the collapse in the video. Swipe right to know more.

  • This led us to run the video on AI-detection platform Hive Moderation as such discrepancies raise concerns that the visual could be AI-generated.

  • Hive Moderation concluded that the video was 99.9 percent likely to contain AI-generated content.
