A misleading claim has gone viral online about Donald Trump interrupting and insulting Keir Starmer while the latter was speaking.

A video of Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer being interrupted by United States President Donald Trump is going viral online.

Users are claiming that Trump interrupted Starmer intentionally when he started talking about their relations with Canada.

What's the truth?: Trump didn't say 'that's enough' to Starmer, he actually said that to a reporter present at the press conference.

How did we find out the truth?: We performed a relevant keyword search on Google but we could not find any credible reports supporting this claim.

  • The results led us to a YouTube video shared by the official account of the White House and it carried the original version of the viral video.

  • The video was shared on 27 February and showed a press conference.

  • The viral clip can be seen at the 18:41 timestamp and the wider version of the video shows Trump interrupting Starmer but pointing at a reporter and saying, "That's enough! Thank you."

  • He then points at another reporter at the opposite side of the room and requests them to ask the next question.

  • You can see Trump smiling at Starmer while he speaks and later pointing at the reporter while saying 'that's enough'.

He makes this gesture at 18:52 timestamp.
