Social media users have circulated a video that allegedly shows Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar being requested to leave during the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected president of the United States of America, Donald Trump.
What we found: At first, we looked for the longer version of the oath-taking ceremony and found it on the White House's YouTube channel.
Following this, we identified the portion of the viral video in the version on YouTube.
We spotted a cameraperson appear in front of the minister at 34:37 minutes of the YouTube video.

At 34:44 minutes, we saw a person approach the area where Jaishankar was seated. The person was seen tapping her hand and gesturing someone to leave.
They were also seen talking to someone. They had no interaction with the minister at any point.

At 35:10 minutes, we can see a person, behind the minister, leaving the area. The person was wearing some sort of a strap around their neck.

In a livestream by German broadcaster DW News, we could spot a photographer in front of the row where Jaishankar was seated.

Conclusion: A false claim has gone to viral that Jaishankar was asked to leave during the oath-taking ceremony of Trump.
