A video of Seema Haider, a Pakistani woman who came to India illegally to live with her partner, Sachin Meena in 2023, has gone viral during the recent India-Pakistan tensions.
In the video, Haider, dressed in the colours of the Indian tricolour, can be seen standing with a crowd and shouting “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Hindustan Murdabad” in front of the press.
What we found: We divided the clip into multiple screenshots and ran a Google reverse image search on some of them.
We came across a similar video on Dainik Jagran's YouTube channel from 14 August 2023.
We compared the two frames and found similarities.
Here is a side-by-side comparison between the two.

In this video, Haider and others can be heard saying, “Hindustan Zindabad," and not denouncing the country as claimed.
This video took place on the occasion of India's Independence Day in 2023.
Questions on deportation post Pahalgam attack: After the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam, Haider encountered potential deportation as India halted visas for Pakistani citizens.
She currently resides in Greater Noida with her spouse and infant daughter.
In a video message directed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, she appealed for them to let her stay in India, stating that her citizenship is now linked to her Indian husband and that she was no longer a Pakistani citizen, reported the Economic Times.
Conclusion: An edited video has gone viral to falsely claim that Haider said, “Hindustan Murdabad” in front of the press.
