A video showing news organisation ABP News' opinion poll results is going viral online. The poll predicts a massive win for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming Delhi elections.

The video notes 47 seats for the BJP, 17 seats for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and 6 seats for Congress.

What's the truth?: This graphic is fake.

  • ABP News clarified that the viral graphic is not real.

How did we find out the truth?: We performed a relevant keyword search on Google but did not find any report from ABP News sharing these poll results.

  • The official YouTube channel of the news outlet also did not carry any Opinion Poll regarding the elections.

  • We then checked ABP News' official X (formerly Twitter) page which carried a clarification about this viral clip.

  • It stated that this is fake news and no such opinion poll has been carried out to shared by the channel.
