No, Shah Rukh Khan Didn’t Go to Maha Kumbh Mela With Ronda Rousey, Roman Reigns

Both images showing Shah Rukh Khan, Ronda Rousey, and Roman Reigns at the Maha Kumbh Mela are AI-generated ones.

A set of AI-generated images have gone viral with the false claim that it authentically shows American wrestlers Ronda Rousey and Roman Reigns with Shah Rukh Khan at the 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela.

A set of images showing American wrestlers Ronda Rousey and Roman Reigns with Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan have gone viral on social media, where users have claimed that the three of them attended the 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj together.

But...?: The images are AI-generated ones.

How did we find out the truth?: To begin with, we ran keyword searches using each of their names with the term 'Kumbh Mela' on Google, to see whether any of them had attended the religious event in Prayagraj.

• This search did not return any relevant results.

• A reverse image search on the images, too, did not show these visuals shared by any credible sources.

To check whether the image was created using Artificial Intelligence (AI), we submitted both images through various detectors, such as Hive Moderation and Was it AI.

• For the first image, showing the three in saffron clothes, Hive Moderation showed a 98.3 percent certainty that it was made using AI.

This image is an AI-generated one.

Similarly, Sightengine too, said that the image was "likely a deepfake" with 72 percent certainty.

The tool detected 72 percent facial manipulation.

For the photo showing Rousey, Reigns, and Khan in red clothing, Sightengine showed a weaker result, being uncertain whether the image was an AI-generated one.

Sightengine only showed 44 percent confidence in the image being AI-generated.

Hive Moderation, however, was 90 percent sure that the image was made using AI.

We check both images together on Was it AI, which was "quite confident" about both of them being AI-generated.
