Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, defended his the statement on the surgical strikes after Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) member Ravi Shankar Prasad asked him not to support Pakistani propaganda.

Kejriwal had asked the government in a statement to release the proof of the surgical strikes to prove Pakistan wrong as it has been denying that any such strikes occurred.

If I say we are with government in combating terrorism and government must give befitting reply to Pakistan’s false propaganda, why is the BJP frustrated?

Kejriwal maintained that he is in support of the government action. However, Justice and Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad had asked Kejriwal if he does not believe in the Army valour.

Prasad’s statement came after Kejriwal asked the government to release the proof of surgical strikes to prove Pakistan’s claims false.

Pakistan claimed that the surgical strikes declared by India were cross-border firing, and not planned strikes.
