Aam Aadmi Party Spokesperson and Executive Member Raghav Chadha, through a petition, has challenged his defeat in the national election from South Delhi parliamentary constituency in court.

The politician has alleged that the BJP candidate who won, Ramesh Bidhuri, had concealed criminal records.

According to the petition filed, Bidhuri had hid the fact that an FIR had been filed against him over a derogatory speech in Bihar, reported NDTV.

Chadha also alleges that false declarations were made in Bidhuri’s election affidavit.

The AAP spokesperson has urged the Delhi High Court to announce Bidhuri’s election void and declare Chadha the winner.
