ICAI CA May Final, Intermediate Exam Registration Process Resumes

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Tuesday, 4 May, resumed the application process of Chartered Accountants (CA) Final, Intermediate May 2021 examinations. The application window will be open till 6 May, 11:59 PM.

Aspiring candidates who were unable to fill the application form earlier can do it now on ICAI's official websites – icai.org, icaiexam.icai.org

The application process has resumed for – CA Final (Old and New), Intermediate (IPC), and Intermediate May exams.

The decision has been taken for the students who were unable to fill the form due to worsening of the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country.

How to Apply for CA Intermediate, Final Exam

  • Visit ICAI's official website – icaiexam.icai.org
  • Click on the registration tab on the home page
  • Log in using your registered credentials
  • Fill in the application form
  • Pay the application fee and submit the form.

Earlier, on 27 April, ICAI also postponed CA final and intermediate exam which were scheduled to be conducted in May 2021. The exams were postponed in the view of surge in daily COVID-19 cases across India.

The official notification read, "In view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and in the interest of welfare and well-being of students and to mitigate their hardships, it has been decided to postpone the final and intermediate Chartered Accountants examinations that are scheduled to commence from 21st (final)/22nd (intermediate) May 2021 across the globe."

New dates for the exam will be announced later by ICAI after reviewing the pandemic situation. It confirmed that a notice of at least 25 days will be given before the start of the examinations.
