Christmas is here and so is Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif-starrer ‘Zero’. Amidst all the buzz that the film created before its release, Zero did look promising. But the Anand L Rai film failed to leave a mark, at least on Earth. Can’t comment about Mars though! (Pun intended).
The story is about Bauaa Singh aka Shah Rukh Khan and his flight from zero to hero. I can’t comment if it’s a one-time watch or not (being an SRK fan, I’m trying to hold my emotions here) . But overall the film seems to drag and loses momentum even before it touches the interval.
The VFX is pretty cool and the music is catchy but the script... uh! It’s a bit scratchy. I mean if you really pay attention to the film, you can pretty much guess what’s gonna happen next.
Still, Tigmanshu Dhulia, who plays the role of SRK’s father in the movie, was spot on with his performance. The audience is surely gonna enjoy the friendly and at times fiery banter between the father-son duo. There are a few surprise cameos, including Bhaijan Salman, in a song.
Are you in a limbo about seeing the film or waiting for its online release? Guess what, we bring you the honest review of ‘Zero’ in two minutes. Don’t worry, there are no spoilers because everything was revealed in the trailer itself.
