Malaika Arora’s Sexy Answer to Sexism
Malaika Arora shows us that women can have it all, do it all and live it up!
If a woman had a statement to combat Hardik Pandya’s ‘Aaj Kar Ke Aaya Kya’ on Koffee with Karan, it was Malaika Arora with her ‘I like him this way and that way’ about a man. She was talking about Arjun Kapoor, and she quite simply meant that she is biased towards him, her rumoured partner one way or the other. She obviously didn’t give a fig about any unintended puns. And this is after she parted ways with her ex husband after an 18 year marriage.
Who Cares Who’s Older!
A Google search tells us that Arjun Kapoor is 33-years-old which makes him twelve years younger than Malaika who is about 45. She is rumoured to be getting married to him next month, long before wedding bell rumours of her ex-husband have started sounding.
Good for her! Not because she beat her ex to it, or that re-marriage is important but, for the simple reason that, it is usually harder for women to move on and find someone else.
But the best part here is that Malaika posts too, her gym bod, holiday snaps and life with the gals are troll staples but she really doesn’t care. Her thick skin coming through in the behind-the-scenes action on India’s Got Talent famously instagrammed by Karan Johar. The way she laughs at jokes cracked at her expense, leaves us all scratching our heads!
Not only does she NOT mind the joke, it seems like the joke is just a script to her, a script to which she plays along. Perfectly comfortable in knowing how fabulous she really looks.
You CAN Have It All
But looks apart there is more to Malaika. She is, quite frankly, a little camera shy and reclusive. If you can be reclusive while showing off your bikini body in an underwater photo or while posing by your dinner table for thanksgiving, she shows you how you can be that too.
At a time when mass marriages are arranged by political parties and little good samaritans are vowing not to marry without their parent’s consent Malaika is doing what the world has always told women they can’t do. Marry the guy of your choosing, dump the guy of your choosing, wear the clothes of your choosing, don’t wear the clothes of your choosing, and laugh at the jokes you find funny and no, they don’t have to be P.C. You, go, Malla!
