Did Beyonce just ‘copy’ Deepika Padukone’s look? Depends on who you are asking

This is Beyonce.

She is a queen and a goddamn style icon.

And this is Deepika Padukone, Bollywood biggie and a desi fashion goddess.

Their extreme style twinning has led us to believe that even though they may be miles apart, they could very well be ‘pichle janam ke bichde’ (long lost) style twins.

While Deepika Padukone had worn this dress at the Cannes Film Festival a few months back, Beyonce was spotted wearing THE EXACT SAME ONE at a Nelson Mandela concert in South Africa recently.

The label, FYI, happens to be Ashi Studio, launched about a decade back in Beirut by designer Mohammed Ashi.

But wait up, not everyone shares the sentiment of them being style twins. Deepika and Beyonce fans, are both, being rather defensive about the whole thing.

To both teams of fans, here’s only one thing we want to say.
