From being overtly competitive in every family game to performing ‘The Routine’ together, Monica and Ross from ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ have shown us exactly how endearing brother-sister relationships can be. The pair has never disappointed us. Has it?

This Bhai Dooj, let’s talk about our favourite brother-sister jodi -Ross and Monica! Through fights and arguments, laughter and banter, Ross and Monica have always had each other’s back. Here are a few of my favourite moments:

The Routine that the Gellers Aced...

The time when Ross and Monica performed their dance sequence, ‘The Routine’, together at the Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve dance. And guess what? They showed off their moves to everyone around just so that they could be seen on televison on New Year’s Eve!

(P.S: Also, it was their dream since childhood to be featured together on this annual New Year’s Eve television special.)

Ross and Monica’s Unique Way of Showing the Finger!

When Ross and Monica came up with a rather unique way of showing the finger... without actually showing it.

Later, they boast about this ‘ inside joke’ to the rest of the gang.

Ross’s Brotherly Instincts

The time when Ross got ‘protective’ on seeing Monica and Chandler together.

Ross’ brotherly instincts are highlighted on several occasions, especially when he first finds out about Monica and Chandler’s relationship. Even though Chandler’s been his best friend, he flips!

The Advisor In Ross...

Ross made sure Monica’s wedding went smoothly...without glitches. This included giving Chandler last-minute advice when he started having cold feet right before the wedding. He is the big brother who mediates till matters are resolved. Ross even threatened to kick Chandler’s a** if he ever made Monica cry.
