Seems like Melania Trump has chosen white as the colour for her visit to India. On 25 February, Melania showed up in a white midi dress with a print by Carolina Herrera and a red belt to add the pop of colour. She completed her look with red white pumps. She arrived at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi for the ceremonial welcome of US President Donald Trump.

Earlier, Melania Trump had chosen an all-white jumpsuit by Atelier Caito For Herve Pierre. She wore a green silk scarf to complete the outfit. She visited Sabarmati Ashram and the ‘Namaste Trump’ event at Motera Stadium.

Her designer took to Instagram to share details about her outfit and its Indian connection.

“Arriving in India, the First Lady #Flotus is wearing a white jumpsuit from @atelier_caito_for_herve_pierre in crème crêpe . The sash was cut in an early XX century Indian textile documents I found in Paris through very good friends who are collectors. @herve_pierre_creative_director . The sash is made out of green silk and gold metallic thread . We used the border which was the most Interesting piece we could use as it was a vintage piece .”

President Trump chose a navy blue suit with a yellow tie. His choice of tie is a deviaton from his usual choice of red tie.

Ivanka Trump's choice of attire was perfect for a warm day. Ivanka wore a powder blue midi dress with red floral prints. The dress had a bow on the neckline and puffed sleeves. She paired her dress with red stilettos.
