Redditors are discussing how Uber drivers are scamming those who are most pressed for time. An Uber passenger recently shared how he was allegedly forced by his driver to pay double the amount of the total fare, provoked by the time-sensitive situation of the passenger.

For any last minute cancellation by the passenger, Uber levies a certain charge payable the next time the passenger takes a ride. Hence the cat and mouse relationship.

Redditors, not alien to the concept of surcharge and cancellation, shared all the information they could about booking Ola and Uber, especially in time-bound situations. Although these are not life-hacks they might help you to save a penny or two.

“You cancel.” “No, you cancel first.” “No, you cancel.” (So sweet)

Wise men say... only fools rush in...

Apparently, the user’s talking about not cloning an Uber app. Uber sniffs them out.
