In a misguided attempt to explain the Indian Air Force’s AN-32 aircraft that went missing recently, Zee Hindustan, a Hindi news channel owned by Zee Media, suggested that the aircraft was abducted by aliens. Yes, really.

With an animated screen in the background showing a UFO, a video of a news anchor from this channel has gone viral in which he is seen proposing this bizarre theory.

Watch the video:

The AN-32 which was carrying 13 people is still missing. The Indian Air Force on Saturday, 8 June, announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh for any information pertaining to the whereabouts of the missing IAF AN-32 aircraft.

Twitterati hasn’t taken this matter lightly. While some are roasting the TV channel for lacking basic journalistic standards, some are pointing out the lack of empathy for the missing IAF men that such outlandish theories betray.
