“This One’s for India”: Manushi Tweets After Becoming Miss World

On 18 November 2017, 20-year-old Manushi Chhillar became the sixth Miss World from India, the first since Priyanka Chopra’s win in 2000. Manushi was chosen from among 108 contestants at the beauty pageant.

Chhillar the took to Twitter to thank everyone for their support and and said that this one is for India.

After that, predictably, Twitter showered the Haryana girl with love and felicitations.

From the Former Pageant Winners

Priyanka Chopra, who was the fifth Indian woman to win the pageant, congratulated the winner of the 2017 edition.

Dia Mirza, who won the Miss Asia Pacific 2000 title, the same year Chopra won Miss World, also congratulated Chhillar.
