Ramya Krishnan a Better Jayalalithaa or Kangana? Twitter Answers

Both the actors will play the former chief minister in a film and web series.

We are all excited to see Kangana Ranaut essay the role of former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa in her upcoming film Thalaivi. However, another actor who will essay the role of Jayalalithaa is Ramya Krishnan in a web series titled Queen. Recently, the makers unveiled the first-look of Ramya on social media.

Along with the poster, it was also announced that the trailer of the series will be released on 5 December. In the first-look poster, Ramya Krishnan looks believable as J Jayalalithaa and is seen clad in a white saree. Twitter immediately jumped to her praise, comparing her to Kangana.

Kangana’s look in Thalaivi did not go down too well with Twitter and there were a flood of memes.

Thalaivi is all set to release on June 26, 2020, and is directed by AL Vijay.
